COURSE DETAILS
Freedom to Fly™ is a specialist cognitive behaviour therapy based treatment programme for fear of flying, developed
by Elaine Iljon Foreman, a Consultant Chartered Clinical
Psychologist.
With a 95% success rate, the programme comprises:
“The Explorer”. This is a two-part course. The first part
involves the understanding of the nature of the problem, and the
designing of an individualised treatment programme. The second
part takes place a week after the initial session and includes a
scheduled day-return flight to continental Europe accompanied by
Elaine.
“The Navigator” is a single session, as per the first session of
the two-part course, without the flight, and is for those who
have already booked their own flight.
If preferred, the Explorer and Navigator programmes are
available for a single individual, rather than as part of a
small group – dates and timings can be tailored to the
individual’s needs.
Each group course is for a maximum of 4 people, and is
usually held fortnightly on either consecutive Saturdays or
Sundays. To establish suitability, acceptance on a course is
based upon the outcome of a telephone conversation with Elaine.
This consultation is free.
For further information on Freedom to Fly™ courses, contact
Elaine by telephone on +44 (0)20 8459 3428 or by email.
